Stanford CIS

2011-Current
Associate Director – Stanford Center for Internet and Society – Stanford, CA

Project managed the redesign and launch of the Stanford Center for Internet and Society web redesign. The original site launched in 2000 and was not updated until I joined the team in 2011.

CIS Website in 2008
The original site was built in Drupal and had over 100+ contributors to the CIS blog. Because of the huge growth of content, there was a strong need for changes to the entire site. The need to showcase the content in a way that was easier for users to navigate through became very necessary.

CIS Website in 2015

When I joined in 2011, the CIS website redesign was one of the first projects on my list. the project involved several steps which included:
– Collecting feature requests from key stakeholders and cataloging all the issues that we needed resolved.
– Find, interview, and recommend the development team that would work on the redesign and launch of the website.
– Work with the engineers and project managers on the site content and features needed for the new site.
– After launch, maintain the site with the help of Stanford Law School administrators and third party developers.
